DTH Pakistan Channel List 2018- HD Sports and Entertainment Channels.

The first ever DTH service in Pakistan is about to launch soon. The exact launching date is still a deep secret. But we are looking to get some inside from the first Pakistan DTH service providers Shahzad Sky. As by now most of you have learned about the company and their plans. Today we are going to look into what they are offering for their customers.

If they come up with something that is not available in the market right now. Then we can see a boosted start for the company in the coming days. Because the market is already full of High-End OLED and LED. So people have their hands on the latest UHD 4K or Full HD televisions. But they are still forced to watch the old analog SD channels by the Cable operators in Pakistan.

So the demand for better HD Entertainment and Sports Channels is so high. Can the Pakistani DTH Service providers cope with this demand?

Are Pakistani DTH Channels enough to break Illegal Indian DTH Subscribers:

Now the biggest question here is that, whether these new Pakistani DTH service providers have those appealing channels on their list. Which would turn millions of Cable tv subscribers to love their services.

Currently, people go for Indian DTH service just because they are providing some of the best Channels lists in this area. Although they don’t have a high-end sports network like Sky Sports or Fox Sports etc to provide worldwide Sports for their viewers. But still, they came up with their own Star Sports and Sony Ten sports network to glue the sports lovers.

Similarly, Indian DTH entertainment channels have so much to offer. Contrary to that Does Pakistan also comes up with their own Sports network? like of Geo Sports HD or Bol Sports network. The chances here seems to be quite grim.

Religious Channels:

1. ARY QTV URDU.
2. Peace TV English.
3. Huda TV.

English News Channel:

1. DW English
2. BBC World
3. Sky News
4. FOX News
5. Al Jazeera

Still no word for whether these channels would be HD or SD quality. But since many of these channels mentioned above are already telecasting their content in HD and can be viewed using free Satellite receivers in Pakistan. Mostly on PakSAT and AsiaSat 105.

So what will be there that will attract new subscribers for the upcoming DTH Pakistan. Is it that Sky Network teaming up rumors or the Fox Sports interest in capturing Pakistani Market. Let’s wait and see.

[Update]: In May 2019 Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) has issued a license to 70 new Satellite TV Channels in an Auction which took place in Capital city Islamabad.
